Warm hospitality in Christie’s hometown
Welcomed by a lovely cup of tea and friendly hosts. Our ground-floor room was impressively clean and spacious, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a standout, with a tailored gluten-free option that exceeded expectations.
While the bus service outside is convenient, the proximity to the main road led to occasional noise, especially at night. the steepness of the parking area proved to be a bit of a challenge for some guests.

The breakfast options included a delightful full English, showcasing the hosts' attention to detail.
The steep driveway was a significant challenge every time we parked. the occasional street noise was quite disturbing, especially during the night, making it hard to get quality sleep. While the rooms were clean, the lack of on-site parking further exacerbated the hassle, as we sometimes had to park quite far away.

The room was well-appointed and notably quiet despite being on a busy road, thanks to excellent soundproofing. The breakfast options included a delightful full English, showcasing the attention to detail the hosts put into their offerings. the steep driveway was a challenge for my vehicle, and occasional street noise made for a less peaceful evening. Limited on-site parking was another downside, as well as the lack of outdoor play areas for children, which could be a consideration for families. Still, it felt like a home away from home.
